Christy Daily, CPA

Christy Daily grew up in a family-owned restaurant business in New Mexico where she built an early foundation in finance and accounting by serving and interfacing with customers and handling cash. As she learned correct business principles from her entrepreneurial father, Christy’s introduction and likeability to business and finance flourished as her career began to take shape.

She became a Certified Public Accountant in 2004 and earned her Masters of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University in 1998. In addition, she is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Christy is highly skilled and patiently imparts practical steps to avoiding a crisis, saying that maintaining accurate financial statements on a regular basis, not just at peak times, is the best plan.

“Keeping accurate financial statements is easier in the long run – during tax time and throughout the year.”

Laura McQueen

Laura McQueen, CPA

It’s no surprise that Laura has a career in accounting because she’s a visionary problem-solver and looks forward to excelling in every assignment she’s given. “I like the challenge of clients’ books being messy,” she smiles.

Raised in Austin, Texas, Laura gleaned inspiration from her father’s career and earned two degrees simultaneously in a dual program from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Professional Accountancy degrees were received in 2012. She is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and earned her CPA license in 2019.

Laura has experience in financial statement audit and internal audit, as well as internal control consulting. She has been employed with Tracy’s firm since 2017 where she performs accurate monthly bookkeeping for recurrent clients, offers suggestions for improvements, and engages in some tax work, as needed.

Another area of Laura’s expertise is building books for clients from scratch and educating them about the importance of not relying solely on bank statements to make decisions, and maintaining account records.

In addition, Laura shares a common goal at the Company.

“At Tracy’s firm, we feel clients deserve personal attention and we have consistently good relationships with them—they’re not talking to someone new every year.”

When she’s not hard at work, Laura relaxes by spending time with her husband and their loyal dachshund.

Robert Boudousquie

Robert Boudousquiè, CPA/ABV, CFE, CVA

Robert Boudousquié hails from New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches on a marching band scholarship. However, 10-key by touch became music to his ears and the finance world captivated his interest—and for that we’re thankful! In 1984 Rob graduated with a degree in accounting.

Rob joined Tracy Jones CPA in July 2021 and brings his established 30-year career to the firm. He is poised to assist all clients in whatever accounting condition they may be facing. His broad scope of experience consists of, but is not limited to, accounting and internal controls, audits, bookkeeping, business valuation, economic analyses, and all levels of tax preparation, including estate and gift taxation.

In addition, he possesses 20 years alone of forensic accounting and fraud investigations, and his discernment and business acumen are able to uncover the most challenging circumstances that clients may be facing. Rob is expertly equipped to tackle anti-trust violations, breach of fiduciary duty, financial fraud and misrepresentation, and product liability; just some areas upon which clients can rely.

Assisting clients is the most enjoyable aspect of his role at Tracy Jones, CPA, as he shares poignantly.

“We have the knowledge and are like teachers, shepherding clients through the tax rules,” Rob explains. “We want to alleviate their concerns so they can rest well at night; not having to worry about unwanted telephone calls regarding their taxes.”

Credentials support his expertise. He earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), designation in 1987, as well as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) in 2002 and 2003, respectively. In 2007, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants awarded him Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).

Rob is diplomatic and tactful in his interactions with clients. Some years ago, a challenging situation with an unstable family conflict and inheritance was presented to him. He audited the books and examined all events fairly and equitably.

“Management decisions needed to be shared with every member of the family, and I also reminded them that they care about one another,” he remembers. In the end, the household agreed with Rob’s recommendations, came together with one purpose, and he received a heartfelt letter of thanks from the family.

When he’s not ‘crunching numbers’ and giving expert advice to clients, Rob relaxes by playing his favorite sport of baseball; continuing a consistent 20-year tradition at the same city park where he also spends quality time with his family and friends.
